Ed still performs with Wally and The Beavs, Olde Mill Brass Quintet, and Big Red Deluxe. Ed’s one claim to fame with a national artist was performing with Frankie Avalon at the Ritz Theatre in Tiffin. Even though he was born in Cincinnati, Ed is an avid Cleveland sports fan. He especially enjoys tailgating at Browns home games with fellow season-ticket holder and Forte staff member Jeff Skaggs.
Ed has been an avid photographer since 1984. Ed was a stringer for Woodard Photographic (Bellevue). This was back in the film camera days, pre-digital, and still before cell phones were invented. Today, Ed continues to do photography as a hobby and the occasional paying photography job.
His beautiful wife of 33 years, Jeanine, is also a musician and music teacher. Jeanine will be retired by July of 2023! Ed and Jeanine have 2 adult children, Lily, the artistic director and owner of the Fremont Ballet School. Seth is attending BGSU for business and will be graduating in 2024.
