Steve played bass guitar in “garage” bands starting in 7th grade. He got away from the band scene shortly after graduation to get married and raise a family. He has either owned or managed auto body and service shops for 52 years and is currently the General Manager of Work Connections International, in Tiffin. After becoming an empty nester, Steve got back into playing in bands again about 16 years ago. He has played bass for a Findlay based band called “Crowd of Beggars” for about 3 years before connecting with one of my band mates from high school and forming the band “Old School 60’s & 70’s Rock n Roll”. The 7 piece band is based out of Findlay, with members from Findlay, Toledo and Tiffin.Besides playing bass, Steve has had a hobby for close to 30 years of working on fretted instruments. Steve is very knowledgeable and meticulous. He has many tools and resources at Forte Music, allowing him to be able to perform many guitar repairs, or just a simple restringing and clean-up, for most instruments. Steve has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He lives in the Tiffin area and is married to his high school sweetheart, Deb, for 50 years!
